The Pet Tag

1. What's your pets name?
Oscar

2. What breed are they?
Miniature Schnauzer.

3. How old are they?
Nearly 4 months old.

4. Where did you get them?
Private Breeder.

5. Why did you want to get this particular breed/species?
I am allergic to dogs, however schnauzers, along with Poodles and some other breeds, are like the ''hypoallergenic'' pillows of the dog world. So I am not affected by them, no sneezing, itching, swelling, albeit there is still some irritation, but that is more to do with Oscar being stubborn and sometimes ignoring clear instructions.

6. Do they know any tricks?
Sit, Lie, Leave, and Fetch at the moment.

7. Do they Snuggle/Give Kisses/ Follow you around?
Yes, when he is tired/ yes when excited to see you/ and yes, he will cry if I leave to room without allowing him the opportunity to follow me, it's cute but can get tiresome.

8. What are some of the funny things they do to make you laugh
When he chases his tail he doesn't really chase it, he catches it straight off, but continues to run round in circles despite already having it in his mouth.... whatever floats his boat.
My Mum's room is like Narnia to Oscar, when he gets a chance to run in there he grabs whatever he can off the floor and runs out of the room full speed, but then stops on the landing, satisfied with his achievement of naughtiness and just looks back at us, with the before mentioned object in his mouth.

9) What does your relationship with your pet mean to you?
A lot. I have been asking for a dog for as long as I can remember, but due to my allergies I was not allowed. When I found out about Schnauzer and confirmed I wasn't effected by them I went in search. He was one in a litter of 9, after slimming them down to 2 I chose Oscar as he kept kissing my nose. It is weird to think that he will be with me till I am 30+ and all the things he is going to be around for.

What's In My Bag

I use two different bags mostly, my grey River Island bag & the burnt red bag from Primark. Day-to-day, to and from work I use my bigger River Island bag but on weekends I prefer to carry smaller bags so I just switch the essentials over.

River Island Bag:
Lowest Pocket- Tissues, Painkillers and Fox's Mints.

Second Pocket- (top-bottom, left-right) House keys, Car Keys, Attack Alarm, Work Keys, another loose work key, Extra Ice Chewing gum, and a random plaster.. (?)

For my house key I got this light key cover from Debenhams which is so useful if your arriving home after a night out, or if like me you just can't find the key hole when it's even slightly dark.

Large Zip Compartment- Purse, Name Badge (for work), Makeup Bag, Mini Scotch-Brite Roller, Lypsyl, Random Paper Clip, 2012 Diary, Pen, Random reminder list, and two pairs of Gloves... again (?)

Within my Makeup Bag- Two brushes; Chilli Pepper & Random Unknown Brush, Elizabeth Arden Bronzing Shimmer Powder, 17 Shine Control Pressed Powder, No7 Natural Blush; (22) Candy Pink, Collection 2000 Concealer, Rimmel London Extra Super Lash Mascara, and E.L.F Studio Matte Lip Colour in Natural. I rarely use the stuff in this makeup bag, mainly concealer and powder & blusher every now and then.

Broken Beauty Rules

I break most of the beauty rules out there, it would be simpler to do a post on the rules i do not break, instead I am just going to list a handful of my broken beauty rules:
> > > > >

Heat Protection: I am working towards improving this, it's proving to be a long, slow process. I bought a travel size TRESemme Heat Defence Spray for my last holiday and have been using it somewhat since. I think I am less inclined to use it as it directs you to use on towel dried hair only, and considering I mostly let my hair air dry I don't feel that it is really helping by the time I do fry my hair with the straighteners. Any good heat defence spray suggestions will be appreciated, specifically ones that do not make your hair greasy.

Regular Hair Cuts: I am trying to grow my hair out so really I should be subscribing to the logic of cutting off the dead ends but no matter how scientific it sounds my brain still goes 'your cutting hair OFF to make it longer...? Come on now!'.

Apply concealer with ring finger: For this rule I not only need to apply with my ring finger but be a whole lot more gentle than I am, but for the life of me, at 7:30am in the morning when I am late for work I can't help but rub it in with far to much... shall we say 'enthusiasm'.

Clean Brushes Regularly: In my defence I have brought Elf Daily Brush Cleaner (which I don't use daily..) to clean my brushes in between deep cleanings. Pure laziness is at fault here.

Regularly Throw Away Make-up: The only makeup I really throw away is the empty kind. I have been know in the past to throw away some because it was way(!!) past it recommended usage, but I don't keep a schedule of when products were opened and dispose of them 6/12/etc months later.

Cleanse, Tone & Moisturise: Reason...... energy. Simple. By the time I get around to getting ready for bed I can barely disguise my hatred of having to brush my teeth, never mind toner and moisturiser. I take my makeup off as soon as I get home with Johnson's Cleansing Wipes and wash my face and then do whatever needs be, which just happens not to be a skincare routine.

Sun Cream: For the same reasons I am a brute with my concealer I just don't have the time, nor energy to put sun cream on in the morning. I roll out of bed 10 minutes prior to leaving the house. And suggestions of getting up earlier just aren't realistic!

Nail Of The Week

I used;
~Sally Hansen 'Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top Coat'~
~Accessorize Nail Polish 'Mermaid' Shade 39~
~Sally Hansen 'Insta-Dri Speed Dry Drops'~

I don't paint my nails very often but when I do I have no patients for waiting around, so the Insta-Dri defiantly helps, I wouldn't say your good to go but it lessens the waiting time a considerable amount.

Haul; Internacionale, New Look & T.K.maxx

From Internacionale I got this sleeveless shirt which is button down front & a slight dipped back of about 5cm. I like the sleeveless style that is coming in and the muted pastel shades of this top attracted me. I think the shoulder button fastening is a cute touch as well.
TOP: £16.99

(Second picture is a better colour representation)

SUNGLASSES: £ 4.99

I also got these brown ombre sunglasses. The graduation of the shades is a lot clearer in 'real life' compared to this photo. I think they are really cute and with some bright lipstick for summer your could easily get away without much else face makeup. Simple.

From New Look I got the below daisy top. It was the peach shade that got me and the plain jersey back with button down detail. & it looks great with the below light wash jeans which I have been wanting for over summer. They are supersoft skinny and scream English summertime to me (considering we don't get incredibly hot weather).
The tops is slightly see-through however, so it's advisable to wear with the same colour bra or a top underneath.
TOP: £12.99

JEANS: £19.99

On a visit to T.K.maxx I the below;

I love the vintage look and this photo frame
is lovely, going to
be putting a bright picture in it.
PHOTO FRAME: £ 4.99

The holder I am unsure of what I am going
to use it for yet,
make-up brushes, pens, lip gloss, any suggestions
would be appreciated.

The Storage box again I haven't decided it's use
I likewise just couldn't walk away from
it.
HOLDER: £3.49
STORAGE: £14.99
